    Snowpocalypse...
    The next morning-

We're looking at 16+ inches. Caena wasn't having anything to do with it at first.

That was as far as she got at first. Then she turned around and wanted right back in. Not until Mark went out front to shovel and Chris let Red outside, did she want to go out.

Red waded through the snow to come say hi as Mark was out shoveling off the front walk. THEN Caena wanted out, naturally.

Of course, once she got out there, she didn't want to come back in. So I let her outback while I shoveled a walk to the garbage can and a trail for the feral kitty to get to the porch to eat.

It's snowing (still) and Caena's in heaven...
It started snowing here around 2pm EST. It hasn't stopped yet. I'm guestimating that we have thus far 5-6" and it's still coming down heavily. They keep saying we're supposed to get 12-20", with more in the higher elevations.

    This was at 230pm-

She wasn't much impressed with it at this point. She wanted to play with the little feral black cat that hangs out on the picnic table under the neighbor's canoes and kayaks on the other side of the fence, instead.

    This was an hour later-

And another 30 minutes after that, I let Caena back out to see it...

She was burying her nose in the snow, and sniffing at it. It was hilarious. Then she'd dance around and run up and down the hill. She didn't want to come back in until I forced her to. Heh.

I'll have more photos in the morning after we let her out again. I expect, she'll be jumping through it then.

Daring Cooks Dec Challenge- Salmon en croute
The 2009 Daring Cooks challenge was hosted by Simone of Junglefrog Cooking. Simone chose Salmon en Croute (or alternative recipes for Beef Wellington or Vegetable en Croute) from Good Food Online.

An easy Challenge... just what I needed this month. Considering all the cookie baking I've done just the last 2 weeks, I'm glad for a simple Challenge.

    Onward! )
